After having travelled the world over and playing at numerous festivals the band al ways wanted to be part of a festival of international standard on our own soil , we played at many festivals in India but none came up to the levels of the Glastonbury’s or womads of the world till we played at the October fest which was a sheer pleasure from the word go , we were treated wonderfully both on and off stage , we would love to be part of the festival again and would be more than happy to work with the team that set up the festival over and over again " - Love & Peace

I've performed twice at the October festival in Bangalore and they have both been fantastic experiences - great audience, big crowds, a feeling of celebration, revelry, fun & joy!!! A truly grand festival and wonderful, professional organizers who are a pleasure to work with.
Evergreen
October is commonly associated with the season of autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the Southern hemisphere but "TGIOF" had every season embedded in it showering every color of life and for those three days Palace Grounds had every element of fun anyone would desire for. Hats off to people who made it possible!! Cheers!! –

October fest was a fantastic experience for us-as always. The festival only seems to get bigger & better every year. Bangalore could use more of its ilk.

Swarathma
October fest was a wonderful experience for Swarathma from start to finish - in fact from even before it started! We went to the first ever press meet that an event organizer had put together! There is much to be said for the rest of the logistics and the crew: they took real good care of us. Special mention to Neel who was our point man during the event and made sure we had everything we needed. Not to mention the state of the art sound and light systems on par with the best that Bangalore has ever seen. The stage was set for a band like ours to give our best, and we did! We hope to return to the October fest, for as long as we can!-

As a band we have played at every October fest, watching it grow bigger and more exciting; waiting, each year, to see what the next one will be like. What has not changed is the ambience, the look and feel; you could be anywhere in the world, not just in Bangalore. -

Parachute XVI
Our artist Parachute XVI had just returned from Kathmandu after having an exciting appearance at the Himalayan Blues Festival. After doing our rounds in the Himalayan region, The Great Indian October fest in Bangalore was a perfect welcome stage into the city. After playing for international audience, it was a great feeling to be performing for the home crowd. Add to this, the party atmosphere at October fest seemed to have transcended people's moods into a different dimension - are we seeing a Glastonbury or Woodstock in the making?! hell, yes! October fest has every potential to make it large and stand out as one of the premier international festivals. We are truly excited to have been part of this fest. -
